Rehab Without Walls specializes in helping people who have experienced a brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke/CVA through accident or illness. We remove the walls that slow healing by coming to you in your home, school, community or workplace. We partner with loved ones to help them along the journey to recovery. We promote greater health and independence throughout the recovery process.

A whole new kind of care

In 1991, Rehab Without Walls introduced a whole new kind of rehabilitation. This revolutionary program moves patients outside institutional settings and into their natural environment. It features a skilled interdisciplinary team with clinical experts in a variety of areas who focus on meeting each individual's functional goals.

How the program works

If you or someone in your family is a candidate for Rehab Without Walls, an assessment and patient interview is conducted by one of our team members. We interview the patient, family members and clinicians to gather as much information as possible. When a candidate enters our care, we work with the physician to create a customized treatment plan. A specially assigned clinical coordinator explains the plan in detail and keeps you informed throughout the process.

Doing it smarter, doing it better

Our clinical experts work one on one with patients to help them recover the functional skills they need. The individuals we support learn to get around the house, shop for groceries and prepare their own meals, all in comfortable, familiar surroundings. We incorporate each person's needs and goals into the treatment plan. When patients have a goal – like returning to a beloved pastime or going back to work – rehabilitation becomes real.

Affordable services

Our services are covered by worker's compensation and many health insurance companies. You can also choose to pay privately. Our staff assists patients and their families in determining eligibility and researching available payment options.
