Overnight Care and Support

A good night’s sleep is important to the caregiver and to the person who is being cared for. ResCare HomeCare offers overnight care and support to give the caregiver a worry-free night’s sleep, knowing that support and assistance are available when needed throughout the night. 

Overnight care and support services include assistance to go to bed, including toileting, catheter care, personal hygiene, and skin care. Direct support professionals are awake all night and available to assist with after bedtime transfers, toileting, and redirection of confused, agitated, or wandering behaviors. Depending on the certification or licensing of the caregiver, duties may include administering medication dosages, changing wound dressings, or engaging in other skilled tasks.

ResCare HomeCare caregivers are professionally trained in accordance with state licensing rules and regulations, undergo criminal background checks, have provided satisfactory references prior to employment, and are fully insured.
