Personal Care and Support
Most people who choose ResCare HomeCare request personal care and support services. These services provide hands-on assistance with the activities of daily living for people who cannot complete these tasks independently or who cannot be left alone while performing these tasks for safety reasons.
Services include assistance with:
- bathing and showering
- dressing and clothing
- toileting and incontinence care
- personal grooming and skin care
- walking and transferring
- wheelchairs and walkers
- meal preparation and eating
- answering and screening calls
- updating immediate family or friends
Personal care and support services can be combined with homemaking, companion, and/or medication reminders services. Additional services can be provided as needed.
ResCare HomeCare’s caregivers are trained in accordance with state licensing rules and regulations, undergo criminal background checks, have provided satisfactory references prior to employment, and are fully insured.
Depending upon your needs, ResCare HomeCare provides personal care and support on a daily, weekly, or as-needed basis. We deliver from as little as a one-hour visit to full 24-hour support, with many options in between. Visit minimums vary by location.
